Madrigal*

Madrigal is an excellent choice for late-ripening apricots. Harvest occurs several days after Farbaly, producing firm, good-sized, and bicolored fruit. The flavor is excellent, sweet, and aromatic. High and consistent yields are achieved. Despite its late ripening, the fruit is not prone to internal browning.

Nelson*

Nelson is undoubtedly one of the leading apricot varieties for the mid-to-late ripening period. It is a highly productive and consistent variety, with large, firm fruits that ripen slowly on the tree. This self-fertile variety is suitable for both Mediterranean and continental climates.

Swired*

Swired is a medium-late ripening apricot variety (Faralia period) that is extremely attractive for its size, fruit quality, and fruit size. The flesh is very firm and flavorful. The fruit is almost entirely bright red. This highly productive variety is particularly suited to continental climates.

Leda (BO06625023*)

Leda is a new variety of apricot born from an all-Italian breeding program, Maspes. It is self-fertile, mature at the same time as Kioto with bi-color fruits with low softening on the plant. The skin is bicolor and the flavor is good, quite aromatic. Very productive variety, medium vigorous and with an open habit of growth. Sharka resistant variety (PPV).

Alissa BO02611043* Variety

Alissa is a very interesting apricot variety due to its medium-late ripening period (first decade of July in Emilia-Romagna) and the valuable organoleptic characteristics (aroma and flavor) of the fruit. Good fruit size and high plant resistance. Easy to manage plant, with early fruiting and good adaptability to different soil and climatic conditions suitable for apricot cultivation (plains and hills). Self-fertile variety and resistant to PPV. It is a very plastic variety in its use, as in addition to the destination for the fresh market, the validity of the fruits for the production of processed products for the production of yogurt has been ascertained, and the aptitude for production destined to juices.

Ariel BO04626008* Variety

Ariel is a new self fertile variety with excellent taste and aromatic flavour. Ripening is 8 days before than Kioto with big sized and bi-colour fruits. PPV resistance is on evaluation. Flowering time is mid-late and tree habit is spread with medium vigour. It has genetic factors of resistance to PPV. In addition to the high quality of the fruit (flavor and size), Ariel’s self-fertility should also be noted, which makes it very productive in all environments.

Farlis* IPS 6.17 Variety

Farlis is a very late apricot variety which is interesting for its aesthetic and taste characteristics. The fruit is of good size, basically spherical, with a bright red color on the exposed part of the fruit. The taste is excellent, sweet with a high aromatic component. The plant is vigorous and upright, very rustic and productive, thanks to the very abundant flowering of the medium-late period. Farlis* is self-fertile and it has a late flowering so it’s suggested for continental areas.

Farbaly* IPS 2.4.37 Variety

Farbaly is a late variety very interesting for high productivity, consistency and for the long shelf-life. The fruit is intensely colored of bright-red on 50/60% of the surface. The shape is spherical with firm flesh and good flavor (very aromatic). The plant is vigorous with spreading habit. Late flowering. Variety particularly suitable for high density orchards even in lowland areas. Self-fertile variety.

Farbela* M163ips Variety

Farbela is an excellent late apricot variety (Farbaly time), self-fertile, characterised by big fruit size and good taste. The plant is vigorous with medium-erect habit of growth. The flowering time is mid-late. The fruit is triangular, the size is big (similar to Faralia) with red blush on the 30-50% of the surface of the fruit. The taste is good and aromatic. The stone is free and pulp is crispy. Excellent shelf-life and slow ripening on the tree. The productivity is elevated and constant with fruits placed on spurs and on laterals. Farbela is a variety particularly suitable for areas with a cold or continental climate.

Faralia* IPS 1.2.85 Variety

Faralia is an excellent mid-late variety that is noted for its large fruit size and for long shelf-life. The plant has good vigour with spreading habit. The flowering is abundant and mid-late. The fruit is sligthly triangular with a bright red blush on the 30/50% of the surface. The pulp has an excellent flavor and is firm and consistent. Faralia is suitable for high density orchards even in lowland areas. We suggest to use Farbaly* like pollinator.
