Carene® Monecar* Variety
Carene is an early season yellow nectarine, very interesting for its high and stable productivity and for its fruit appearance. The plant has high vigour with semi-erect growth habit, abundant and early season flowering. The fruit has a very regular spherical-shape, and it stands out for the almost total absence of splitting. Small stone, crunchy flesh and sub-acid taste. The skin is regular, scarcely russeted and totally bright red overcoloured. The medium calibre is A-AA. A good green pruning and a early thinning (also for flowers, if necessary) are recommended.
