Kaki Tipo Variety
Kaki Tipo is a traditional variety probably originated in Japan. Currently the most cultivated in Italy. The plant has an high vigor, with erect habit of growth. The fruit is not edible at the harvest (astringent), it has a medium-large size (average weight 250 g), with orange flesh and excellent sweet flavor. The variety is characterized by a high rusticity and resistance to low winter temperatures.
