Tamara* Variety
Tamara is an excellent late-season variety chracterised by large size (average calibre >32 mm), high weight (>12 g) and excellent sugar content (>18°Brix. The fruit has high firmness with light-red flesh and bright dark-red fruit skin. The peduncle is medium-long. The fruit shape is depressed-cordiform. The taste is as excellent as the flesh firmness. The tree is vigorous with semi-erect growth habit. Flowering is medium-early. Good productive behaviour on dwarfing rootstocks. Tamara is not subject to rain cracking and it is recommended to pollinate it with other early flowering varieties such as Burlat, Vera and Lapins.
