NIROSA1 Variety

Nirosa1 is a new apricot variety licensed by CRPV and obtained from the breeding project named MASPES in cooperation with New Plant, University of Milan and some private nurseries placed in Emilia Romagna. Nirosa1 is a self-fertile variety, early, bicolor with an excellent taste, well balanced and really aromatic. The tree has low vigour with spread habit of growth and fructification well distributed. Time of ripening is one week before Pinckot and flowering is early. Despite the early flowering and ripening period, Nirosa1 has shown a good tolerance to spring cold returns and is productive even in difficult years. Excellent Sharka tolerance (PPV).
