Carmen is a medium-early ripening cherry variety that has been popular and popular for several years. Carmen has trees with low vigor and spreading growth habit. The fruit has very large size (more than 32-34 mm of mean calibre) with very high weight, medium-long peduncle and cordate shape. The color is deep bright red. The flesh is medium firm with good taste and low acidity. The yield is good and constant. This variety is suitable for both medium-low density (Colt, CAB6P) and high density (Gisela 5 and 6) plants. Very late flowering makes it a perfect pollinator for the Kordia, Regina and Ferrovia varieties.
