Regina Variety
Regina is a late-season variety mainly used in combination with Kordia, Ferrovia or Carmen. The tree has high vigour with spreading well-branched growth habit and with fruiting mainly located on dards. The fruit has dark-red colour, cordiform shape, large size and long peduncle. The flesh has high firmness. Excellent uniformity of ripening with low susceptibility to cracking. The taste is good. Excellent vegetative-productive behaviour on dwarfing rootstocks. Regina has an excellent tolerance to spring cold returns.
